Established in 2026 by PHAZE Broadcasters Inc., RAT FM was created with a simple vision: to provide a genuine local media platform where community voices can be heard, local stories can be told, and local achievements can be celebrated. In an increasingly centralised media landscape, RAT FM exists to ensure that Ballarat continues to have a dedicated outlet focused on the issues, events, and people that matter most to our region.

Broadcasting 24 hours a day through our website and mobile applications, RAT FM delivers a diverse mix of music, entertainment, interviews, community information, local news, event coverage, specialist programs, and live broadcasts. Our programming reflects the diversity of Ballarat and the surrounding region, providing content that is relevant, engaging, and accessible to listeners of all ages and backgrounds.
